As of July, I recently started to work with the Event planning small business Bring Something to the Party. Currently I am hired to design greeting cards, invitations of all occasions, and curating any social media content. The company specializes in event planning, event decor, and invitation design. Check out my most recent designs for the companies postcards below:

Logo Design for Delevo

Earlier this year, I had the privilege to work with a very talented jewelry designer/musician named Deborah. Her brand is called Delevo and so is her stage name in her jazz-rock band she sings in. She brought me the task of designing a new logo for her brand and jazz-rock album. There was a heavy influence of an Art Nouveau stlyle when designing the logo and logo mark.

With a few revisions, we decided to keep it very simple. Check out the final for her album: The album art was painted by a local artist/friend of Deborah.

My experience as a Graphic Designer in the Fashion Industry

Culture Theory Waiting Room. Downtown Arts District, Los Angeles

From July 2015- February 2016 I worked as a freelancer in the Arts District in Downtown Los Angeles. I worked at a brand and artist representation firm where I learned so much about the fashion industry. It is a very fast paced industry with many deadlines to juggle in a day. So many creative projects to work on. My personal favorite was creating a new logo and brand identity to Jewelry Designer/Singer: DELEVO. (you can view work at culture theory website here: http://www.culture-theory.com ) Overall the experience was very worth the time. I worked with amazing people, and the space was super trendy and hip. At Culture Theory, I was in charge of helping my creative director with logo design, photo editing, designing and  updating the monthly newsletter, and creating portfolio’s for possible clients.

PROOF-CREATIVE-OFFICES
Proof Waiting Room Burbank, California.

Proof Creative Group is a small entertainment advertising agency based in Burbank California working on projects that consisted of full on theatrical campaigns, in theater advertisement, along with outdoor advertising. Working with many clients, but projects mainly revolving animated movies. Example: FINDING DORY IN THEATERS JUNE 2016. Debbie got hired as a Junior Graphic Designer Intern, and her responsibilities included: mounting comps, sending out projects to clients, coming up with creative copy, and revising comps based on client feedback, don’t forget to mention organizing the server so that all the designers could find work easily. This experience definitely helped Debbie grow as a designer but also as an adult. This job is tough, but it helps you work in a fast-paced environment.
